Tania Grubbs coming to Foxburg JazzFest!

Tania Grubbs

Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts Presents: Tania Grubbs, Jazz Vocalist & her swinging Trio.

Saturday, July 26th at 7:00pm in the air conditioned Lincoln Hall in Foxburg, PA

Tania will be performing with her husband Jeff (Pittsburgh Symphony bassist and jazz bassist extraordinaire), Tom Wendt (drum set player0, and Daniel May (Jazz Pianist). Tania and the Trio will be performing selections from Tania’s new recording “Lost in the Stars”, in which they are all featured artists.

Tania has been singing for as long as she can remember, appearing at many different venues. She was a student at Youngstown University and focused on American Songbook. It was there that Tania focused on jazz by listening to every great artist she could study.

After meeting her husband, Jeff Grubbs, Tania established a solid reputation in the Sunshine State by singing in many jazz clubs, concert settings and theater productions. She was a featured vocalist with the Florida Philharmonic and a “voice” of the Boca Raton Pops Orchestra for three years.

Currently, Tania is the Co-Director at Pittsburgh’s Fairmont Hotel four-night-per-week jazz series “Jazz at Andy’s.” Grubbs also is the Music Director at the Mansions on Fifth Avenue hotel. She has also been a featured vocalist for the Pittsburgh Symphony, Civic Light Opera, and the Cultural Trust’s “JazzLive” series.

Plan for a relaxing, romantic mid-summer evening in the beautiful Allegheny River Valley by having a wine tasting at The Foxburg Winery, enjoying drinks and dinner at the nearby Allegheny Grille or for lighter fare, at Foxburg’s Pizza Shop – and cap it off with gourmet coffee and dessert at Divani’s Chocolates.
