Regional Band

     Allegheny – Clarion Valley School District will proudly be sending two high school students to PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) District II Regional Band this week.  These students will be joining a select group from schools across 13 counties. Students had to audition during District Band were judged on performance to continue on to Regional Band. Once at Regional band, the students will audition again for the opportunity to move on to State Band.

     Regional Band is a three day event that will be hosted by Leechburg High School. During the three days, students will be working with guest conductor James Patrick Miller. He is the Assistant Professor and  the Director of Wind Studies at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. Regional Band will end the week with a public concert that will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 @ 11:30 AM.
