Wanted! Amazing Horseshoe Pitchers
As we posted a while back, the Foxburg Inn Hotel and Horseshoes for Life is sponsoring a Horseshoe Pitching Event at RiverStone Farm, on April 3 and 4, 2009.
The event is open to anyone, and it’s going to be quite a fun time.
After 3:00 pm on a Friday Afternoon: Check In for one Night’s Lodging at the Foxburg Inn
6:30 on Friday Night: A Pizza Party Social at Lincoln Hall featuring Bob Sok, three-time world horseshoe pitching champion Dan Kuchcinski from “Horsehoes for Life,” a Musical Presentation by Paul McKissick on the Mighty Wurlitizer Theater Organ and Harmonica, and more.
Saturday, 7:00am to 9:00 am: Breakfast at the Foxburg Pizza Shop or Divani’s Chocolate
Shop. (Your Choice!)10:30 am at the RiverStone Event Center: A Horseshoe Pitching Presentation and Tournament
presented by Dan Kuchcinski of “Horseshoes for Life”.12:00 Noon: Lunch at the RiverStone Event Center.
From 1:00 on: A Presentation, Demonstration and Rides on the Segways. Weather permitting, we may also have Horse Carriage by the Hovis Family. Plus, horseshoe pitching will continue long into the afternoon hours.
Sounds like a lot, doesn’t it? But the price is just $125.00 per person, double occupancy, for everything including lodging, meals, and all the activities.
